I just submitted my first design on threadless, the best t-shirt shop on the web. I don’t know what my chances are, but if you like this design, please go give it a “5” score here.

I have been selling t-shirts on Zazzle for a few years and like to think that I am a pretty good t-shirt designer. However, occasionally I come across works by others that truly blows me away. I was so impressed with the funny t-shirts at Split Reason that I had to share some of their designs here. When I see shirts like these, my first thought is “I wish I had thought of that.”
Many of these designs would not be allowed on Zazzle because of the use of licensed material. It is fine to use for a parody but Zazzle is extra cautious. I have some designs such as these that I just might submit to Split Reason. Until then, enjoy these – my top picks from splitreason.com:
Evolution of Evil
George’s Secret
Boomstick
Back to the 8008ies
Extra Terrestrials

That’s right, folks. One of my crazy designs is going to be on Prime Time Network TV. My Tighty Whities coffee mug was picked to be used as a prop item on a brand new show this Fall!
NBC’s Outsourced premieres Thursday, September 23rd - 9:30/8:30c. It is a comedy about a novelty company that outsources it’s calls to India. Todd Dempsy is sent to the company’s call center in India to teach the new employees how to sell American novelty items (whoopee cushions, hand joy buzzers, rubber chickens and tighty whities mugs!). From the creators of The Drew Carey Show and The Office comes a comedy where cultural differences are a novelty.
Be sure to watch Outsourced Thursday nights this Fall on NBC, right after The Office. Click here to order your very own Tighty Whities mug.

A fun collection of stories in the fantasy genre showcasing the artistic talent of Darren Glenn, whose humorous, detailed style pays homage to Sergio Aragonés.
Shakespeare would be rolling in his grave after reading “The Curse of Gandorf”; a lighthearted tragedy that is part “Romeo and Juliet” and part “Groo the Wanderer. Gandalf the dragon, meets Rowena, the human girl of his dreams, and must try to win her love. What follows is of course, total disaster, but with a surprise ending.
Scorch also features a four page back-up story in which a savage nomad seeking vengeance for the murder of his family takes on an entire army. With visuals including the literal opening of a can of “whoop ass,” this is a parody that will leave you craving more.

Also available in CBR format (comic book resource) from Rapidshare (12.4 mb).

Lactose Intolerant Man is a funny parody of a parody about an off-beat superhero who gained his powers by drinking radioactive milk. Features a special cameo appearance by Too Much Coffee Man! Too Much Coffee Man was created by and is solely owned by my friend, Shannon Wheeler (used by permission). Shannon has created many comics (far better than this one) and is currently a contributing cartoonist for The New Yorker magazine.
I made this mini-comic in 1996. The idea came to me one day when I was really, really bored. It was a big hit at my college campus and at the 1996 DEF CON in Tulsa, OK. By “big hit” I mean that it got laughs… it didn’t make any money. I only printed 100 copies. But now, through the miracle we call the internet (thank you, Al Gore), you can download your very own copy for FREE! Maybe it will be an even bigger hit and still make no money!
